What a marvelous high-quality Hoodie! Exceeded my expectations! The merino wool is very soft and fine making the garment warm but at the same time lightweight. Obvious that lots of thoughtful attention to detail went into the design and production of this garment. I could not be happier with this purchase! Thank you Aviator team!

Incredibly soft, just the right weight for cool planes and trains, put on your bose headphones, cinch your cap down over your eyes and cover with the hood. sleep. And yes, cover your hands with the cuffs. Seriously, light enough to cinch into a backpack webbing, great when it turns chilly at night, comfortable and good looking. Pair with Aviator jeans. Wear an icebreaker t-shirt and brooks brother shirt and you can go almost anywhere in style and extreme comfort. This has made a real difference in my quality of life--and work.

I have both the original and new version of the First Class Merino Hoodie. I loved the original enough to purchase another for a voyage that I am currently taking on the Queen Mary2. This new edition of the Hoodie is more soft, feels lighter and packs down to a more compact bundle than the original. It is my preferred mid layer for chilly walks around the deck while still in the Mid Atlantic Ocean and I expect it will be the garment that I wear on the flight back to New York from Rome. I’m 6’2”, 155lbs and the size 3 is a perfect fit.

So far I really like the feel and look of this jacket I exchanged it from a size 4 to a size 3 because the sleeves seemed way too long. Haven’t worn it in a trip yet but will soon and I look forward to flying inittoEurope this September. For reference, I am 67 5’5 tall 180 lbs
